Where are you from and what do you love about it?

“I’m from Mountain Brook, Alabama! It is the most beautiful place with the best limeades and chicken salad out there. What I love most is the tight knit community.”

Can you tell us about your family?

“I am married to Trey Prescott who is the Insurance and Risk Manager for Southern Land Company. We met in medical school! We have a precious (and sassy) 2 ½ year old daughter, Anne Charlotte “A.C.” , who we love dearly. We moved to Nashville for my Pediatric Residency at Vanderbilt and have fallen in love with it! We are thrilled to raise our family here.”

Are you a morning person or an evening person?

“I am definitely a morning person! I look forward to my morning cup of coffee before everyone wakes up!”

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?

“I love a good ol’ buttered biscuit from Hardees.”

What is the best gift someone has ever given you?

“I know it sounds cheesy, but the gift of being a mom. Anne Charlotte truly gives us more joy than we could have ever imagined.”

What made you want to do peds?

“I have always loved kids and knew my career would be focused on them! My major at the University of Texas was Child Development and before medical school, I was a 6th and 7th grade math teacher. I am so thankful that I get to walk through life with children and their families as their pediatrician.”

Make sure to tell Dr. Prescott ‘Hi’ when you start seeing her around the office!
